Workshop information:
Would you like to design your own silver bangle? Why not create one for yourself or make a present for a member of your family or a friend?
This fun and friendly workshop will give participants with little or no previous experience, the basic skills required to make a unique bangle.
Participants will be guided through from design to creation, with demonstrations and advice given through the workshop.
Techniques covered will include saw-piercing, texturing, soldering, and polishing. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the techniques of a jeweller under the expert direction of Belynda Faulkner, owner of B Jewellery.
Participants will create their own design to take home, completed, fully polished and ready to wear.
You will create a bangle from approx 2mm wire but there is a choice at extra cost to make more or a wider bangle.
This price includes training and materials.
Age: 16+
Ability: Beginners
Do I need to bring anything with me: Tools and equipment will be provided but students are asked to provide their own protective apron for the day.
